Mining duty is defined by what the machines run in: dust, water, vibration and long distances from any workshop. Conveyor drives, crushers, winders, dewatering pumps and drill rigs use both wound rotor AC motors and DC machines, and the parts that wear are consumed faster here than almost anywhere else.

Because a site store may be hours from the nearest repair shop, parts have to be right on arrival. We manufacture carbon brushes with strong, low-resistance terminals, brush holders that keep pressure steady through vibration, and slip ring and commutator assemblies built to the sample so the fit is not in question when the part reaches site.

Why do brushes wear so quickly on mining equipment?

Usually a combination of abrasive dust on the contact surface, vibration causing the brush to bounce in its box, and worn holders that no longer hold correct spring pressure. Replacing brushes alone rarely fixes it — the holder condition needs checking at the same time.

Can you make brushes with heavier terminals for vibrating machines?

Yes. Twin flexible braided copper leads and stronger fork, spade or ring terminals are standard options — we make the termination to match your sample or to your requirement.

Do you supply to remote mining sites across India?

Yes. Parts are packed in foam and dispatched across India with tracking. For remote sites we recommend ordering a full set of brushes and holders together so one delivery completes the job.
