Four core manufacturing operations run in the workshop. Each one starts from your sample or drawing and ends with a part that fits the machine it was made for.
Rings turned from electrolytic copper, phosphor bronze or EN-series steel, mounted on epoxy and mica insulated hubs with brass clamps and copper studs, then finish-turned true. Three-ring units through to multi-ring stacks for motors up to 5000 HP.
AC slip ring unitsHard-drawn silver-bearing copper segments separated by mica, drawn into steel V-ring construction, heat-seasoned under pressure so the assembly stays tight, then mirror-turned and concentricity checked.
DC commutatorsElectro-graphite, copper metal-graphite and natural graphite grades cut to your block size, contact faces flat or radiused to the ring or commutator, with single or twin braided copper leads and fork, spade, slotted or ring terminals.
AC & DC carbon brushesBrush boxes machined to running clearance in cast brass, chrome-plated and powder-coated bodies, with coil, leaf or roller spring systems and copper contact straps. Brass terminal boards and connection plates for 200–1500 HP motors.

A replacement part is only useful if it fits and holds up. These are the checks every part passes before it is packed.
Every ring, brush, holder and commutator is measured against the sample or drawing it was made from — ring diameters and widths, hub bore and keyway, brush block size, box clearance and mounting centres.
Slip rings and commutators are checked for run-out after finish turning. A surface that is not concentric makes brushes bounce, which is what causes sparking and short brush life on an otherwise correct part.
Insulated assemblies are high-voltage tested — between rings and from rings to hub — before they leave the workshop, so an insulation fault is found here rather than on your motor.
Parts are packed in foam so machined surfaces reach you unmarked, and dispatched across India with tracking.

Yes. A dimensioned drawing is enough to manufacture from. If you do not have a drawing, a worn sample works equally well — we take the dimensions from the part itself, which is how most of our work arrives.
The part is measured and a quotation is prepared against those dimensions. Once the order is confirmed, manufacturing runs through raw material approval, machining and assembly, dimensional inspection, electrical and high-voltage testing, then foam packing and dispatch.
Every part is measured against the sample or drawing it was made from and checked mechanically. Insulated assemblies such as slip rings are additionally high-voltage tested, and machined running surfaces are checked for concentricity.
Yes. Parts are dispatched across India with tracking from our workshop in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. Foam packing protects machined surfaces in transit.
